Fault Based Model. VS Shared Accountability .
We are going to be attending to children with adult type illnesses . The fact is that the current environment is working against our kids. Children are at risk due to the amount of Bad Foods readily available .

Bad Foods are products that are engineered to taste very good , and they generally are filled with high salt, sugar or calories. This places their health at risk and as a community member I doubt that you would watch a child of 4 get near a cliff . If you witnessed a child taking extreme risks , you would take action.
This action for social change is within your grasp . Below is a link to the Fort Frances Times . The small newspaper in Northern Ontario decided to write about this effort. People from all over the world are linking to this new model , and at the same time are tuning into the old policy. The old policy skillfully places all accountability onto the individual. To support this theory I found out that 90 % of people follow the model . Do you really believe that Personal accountability ,lack of willpower , unhealthy eating ,lifestyle ,laziness are the only reasons for this extreme health crisis?
Perhaps I was more accountable in 1980 .I agree acountability is important ,but this accountability needs to be SHARED . How effective is it to place all funding and energies into the Activity Cycle. What gets missed? Shared Accountability allows for factors to float to the surface . A safe community ,where we have recreational resources that encourages activity daily. Income levels that can provide healthy food for a healthy community.Healthy foods have increased by 76.5 % since 1989.
The governments need to step forward and realize this issue is far too complex for a single person to address. Systems need to become accountable and take this obsesity crisis on.The information is readily available and it is time to act. AGAINST OBESITY ------NOT AGAINST OBESE PEOPLE.
Lets find ways to protect our children with regard to their health .

I totally understand exactly what you are saying and I hate that children are suffering with diabetes and high blood pressure at a young age.Sometimes poor children cannot choose to eat healthy because of their situation. Obesity isn't always their fault. Keep posting! Good job!
