Media and the Giant Food Industry.

We need a new community obesity action plan.



The food industry has countless resources and owns much of the media. TV weight loss is losing ground and the globe continues to awaken. I am thrilled that Michelle Obama has chosen to step into the ring. However, she has framed this in a way that may encourage more children to grapple with Eating Issues. Her intention is noble , but

Whole Foods Hates Fat

Here is an interesting article about the Whole Foods employee discount which is 30% for the lean and 20% for the obese as determined by body mass index (BMI). Whole Foods also looks at blood pressure and a few other factors.

Lifestyle and the blaming model. 2010

How can 90 % of people believe obesity is only related to a lifestyle?
