I am trying to inspire a conversation about childhood obesity in Thunder Bay and North Western Ontario. The childhood obesity issue is reaching a crisis point,if it hasn't already. The time for action is now,and functional work plans need to be built and developed, so as to try and address the complex issue.

We have had many programs that focus solely on physical activity and many label our childhood obesity crisis as an activity ,or inactivity crisis.…
