Film Director Kevin Smith is too fat to fly on Southwest

Check out this article at the LA Times, Feb. 15, 2010.

Mr. Smith purchased two tickets, but decided to go on an earlier plane that did not have two seats available. The Captain kicked him off the plane apparently because Southwest Airlines considers fat people a safety hazard for fellow passengers trying to exit the plane in an emergency.

I say, "Forget that!" Southwest makes their seat spaces so small that no one, large or small, can get out quickly in an emergency.

Sincerely,
Michael J. McCarthy, Ph.D.
