Who is funding the obesity war? Why? Can governments address childhood obesity,while collecting tax dollars from the food,weight loss,media,pharmaceutical industries? Do they need a little encouragement,or a lifestyle change?
Is food our next tobacco? www.obesitythunderbay.ning.com is promoting the creation of a Big Fat Royal Commission.Perhaps a White Paper on Childhood Obesity? Is it time to explore harm reduction,blood pressure,new concepts that unstrap us from the sinking physical inactivity model in the hope of taking on a new approach that will not allow special interest groups ,or the profiteering of vulnerable children.
This project is encouraging you,the reader ,to join this effort and help in the promotion of a new work plan that could address unhealthy food environments.Obese children are not the enemy.
