From my own experience as a fat child, my reaction to being reminded that I am obese was getting depressed! As an emotional eater whenever I'm emotional I start eating more! Of course every child is different, but the way obese children are approached must be changed, my personal opinion is that a relative ( parents, sibling) are not the best people for this job!

How does attacking children address obesity?   Why is the media and the food industry prepared to download the problem onto children?  How does this plan address eating disorders?

Do you think overweight children need to be reminded and bullied because of obesity?   The real question  relates to why the media and the food industry has pimped the physical activity model? How bout starting with  advertising ads that target young children? Who is behind the nanny state argument?  Why not ask children if they need to be reminded that they are fat?
